A compilation of small art projects that were made as a result of chasing a technique or skill, or in experimentation of colour, pattern, type or code.
TRUCHET
A Truchet is a repeating pattern that does not break if the tiles are rotated. This allows for a multitude of patterns to be made by rearranging the same tile. The aim was to create an organic yet structured pattern that would flow easily. The final results were printed on a Riso printer.

SUNFLOWERS
A print made using linoleum relief printing technique. I illustrated, carved out, and printed the design.

1 SCRIPT, 100 COMPOSITIONS
When I started learning how to code using Processing, this was an exercise to help build skills. Using a single script of code, and the same parameters of colours, images and fonts, I had to see how many different compositions I could extract from that one script. All the compositions were printed into a booklet using a CMYK Riso printer.

DRAWING TYPE TOOL
I created a drawing tool where you could input a letter and trace the letterform using the arrow keys. The tool is coded in such a way that one can in put in a letter of any typeface and change the size and shape of the brush as well. Here is an example - I used Helvetica and a square brush, both for their simple shapes.

ALPHABET POSTER
A poster made from collaging letterforms. I achieved this result when I stopped looking at the letters as alphabets, and starting looking at them like shapes with positive and negative space.

RECORD HIJACK
A series of upcycled record covers made by collaging. Taking discarded vinyl records from thrift stores, these covers were made new for current music. The goal was to create all covers using found material.
